First Line Stormwater Solutions Services

Stormwater Control Measures (SCM)

Designates that it is a regulated Stormwater Device. It is going to replace the BMP acronym.

Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP)

Term used to designate that a device is a regulated stormwater treatment device.  This term is being phased out because of its broad use in many industries.

Low Impact Development (LID)

The future of Stormwater retrofits in high-density areas, urban areas and new construction.  Devices with small footprints providing good water quality treatment of receiving waters.

Integrated Management Practices (IMP)

Use of Low Impact Development when installing new or retrofitting existing infrastructure.

Retention and Detention Ponds

Most commonly used Stormwater Device, pre-1995 and post-1995 commonly called “Regulated Wet Pond BMP”.

Lakes and Dam Embankments

Bodies of water that capture direct and indirect stormwater runoff with a dam structure that may be regulated by state and/or Federal laws or may not meet the standards for regulation.

Stormwater Drainage Infrastructure

The Catch Basin and piping network that collects and transports stormwater flows to a discharge point and/or a Stormwater Control Measure.

SCM Maintenance

Services to help maintain your SCM devices in a Compliant and aesthetically pleasing condition.

SCM Turf Maintenance

Many of the SCM vololations involve lack of and/or poor Turf Maintenance to promote a thick healthy footprint around the SCM.   We utilize Specialize Equipment and techniques to help maintain and promote healthy turf while protecting the function of the SCM.
